After the one-time purchase, there is no monthly subscription or mandatory recurring Scamurai license fee required to keep the purchased major version working. Ongoing monitoring is a separate optional monthly service because continuous checks, alert delivery, and supported connections create continuing cost.

Monitoring prices are based only on protected-profile count—not age, disability, diagnosis, language, relationship, or perceived risk.

What the monthly fee changes
The recurring plan pays for an ongoing watch. It is not rent for the app and it does not lock a person’s own records behind a subscription.

Who Guardian monitoring may support
The same plan price applies whether protection supports a child, an older adult, a person with a disability, a multilingual household member, or someone facing a temporary period of distress.
Authorized, transparent safety alerts for grooming, financial sextortion, violent coercion, gifts, secrecy, or unsafe channel migration.
Grandchild emergencies, bank and government impersonation, romance and investment fraud, tech support, lottery fraud, or caregiver exploitation.
Calm explanations and trusted-human escalation for people with intellectual, developmental, cognitive, or communication disabilities.
Protection from isolation, love-bombing, coercive tasks, reputation threats, and escalating demands during grief, crisis, or acute distress.
Authority, immigration, tax, legal, employment, and banking scripts that exploit translation gaps or unfamiliar institutions.
Reputation blackmail, deepfake threats, executive impersonation, business-email compromise, doxxing, and payroll diversion.
Adults must give informed consent unless, to the extent permitted by applicable law, a legally authorized representative has documented authority that specifically covers the proposed data access and monitoring. Children require an authorized parent or guardian, and monitoring must remain within applicable law. Age, disability, diagnosis, fiduciary status, or family status alone does not establish that authority.
Important monitoring limits
Guardian monitoring is planned as automated risk detection and alerting—not live human surveillance.
Scamurai cannot promise to detect every scam, grooming attempt, abusive pattern, suspicious transaction, or account compromise.
It is not medical care, legal or financial advice, law enforcement, a crisis line, or a substitute for emergency help.
Financial monitoring cannot move money, freeze an account, reverse a transfer, make an investment, or recover a loss.
No stalking, secret partner monitoring, coercive control, unlawful employee surveillance, discriminatory profiling, or unauthorized account access.
Before payment opens
No checkout will open until the standalone app’s supported sources, costs, privacy controls, and service limits can be stated precisely.
Supported connections Exact messaging, account-security, and financial sources—with permission level and regional availability.
Data handling Collection, on-device processing, retention, deletion, trusted-contact visibility, and breach response.
Service behavior Alert timing, fair-use limits, false-positive correction, maintenance windows, and cancellation date.
Commercial terms and lifecycle Household and device limits, reinstall rights, compatible operating systems, support lifecycle, taxes, refunds, optional major upgrades, and any third-party pass-through cost. Paid overages will be off by default.
Access support A confidential hardship path for the core license and sponsored monitoring when sustainable capacity exists.
