Protection · Consent before connection

A watchful system.
Not a hidden one.

Scamurai is being designed for authorized protection around people who face manipulation, coercion, impersonation, grooming, or financial exploitation.

Age, disability, language, diagnosis, or family role never becomes a risk score. The system watches for observable tactics, explains its signals, and alerts an accountable human.

Who protection may support

Different lives.
The same dignity.

People are not “vulnerable types.” Criminals exploit moments: isolation, unfamiliar systems, cognitive overload, emotional distress, trust, shame, or a desire to protect someone they love.

Children and teens

Online grooming, sexual or financial sextortion, gift-based coercion, violent online networks, unsafe channel migration, and threats to expose private material.

See child-safety patterns

Older adults

Grandchild calls, tech-support fraud, romance and investment schemes, bank impersonation, caregiver theft, lottery fraud, and cash-courier demands.

People under cognitive or emotional pressure

Support for people with intellectual, developmental, cognitive, or communication disabilities—and people experiencing acute emotional distress or a mental-health crisis.

Read the authority boundary

People navigating an unfamiliar language or system

Immigration, embassy, tax, banking, employment, and legal-service impersonation that relies on translation gaps or unfamiliar institutions.

Teachers and public-facing professionals

Reputation blackmail, deepfake threats, sextortion, doxxing, executive impersonation, payroll diversion, and business-email compromise.

Families and trusted circles

Shared verification phrases, independent callbacks, trusted-contact escalation, coordinated evidence preservation, and calm recovery steps.

Planned authorized sources

Connect the signal.
Not the whole life.

Until real connectors ship, these are design targets—not claims that this static site can read a private account, device, bank, WhatsApp conversation, Facebook profile, or Discord server.

01

Messages and calls

Forwarded or user-authorized SMS, email, call metadata, and exported conversations. Detect urgency, suspicious links, secrecy, impersonation, and unusual payment demands.

02

Social and relationship contact

Consent-based profile and conversation checks for stolen identities, catfishing, rapid intimacy, off-platform migration, fabricated crises, and investment pivots.

03

Child-safety events

Developmentally appropriate, transparent signals such as gifts, secrecy requests, adult-space migration, boundary testing, threats, or a request for intimate material.

04

Read-only financial alerts

New payees, unusual transfers, recovery-method changes, account lockouts, cash withdrawals, or “move your money to safety” scripts. No power to move or freeze funds.

05

Identity and account security

Password resets, MFA changes, SIM ports, unfamiliar-device logins, new recovery contacts, and reuse of known impersonation infrastructure.

06

Case evidence chosen by the user

Screenshots, receipts, URLs, names, timelines, and notes deliberately added for review—with provenance and retention controls kept visible.

What the guardian looks for

Behavioral signals.
Never identity shortcuts.

One weak signal should prompt context, not an accusation. Several corroborating signals can justify a calm verification alert.

  1. 01
    Unexpected identity or authority

A relative, bank, platform, police officer, government office, teacher, executive, or romantic interest appears from an unverified account.

  2. 02
    Urgency, secrecy, shame, or fear

The contact says time is running out, forbids independent advice, or threatens arrest, exposure, abandonment, or harm.

  3. 03
    Isolation and channel migration

The relationship quickly moves to a private channel, then discourages family, friends, moderators, banks, or professionals from checking the story.

  4. 04
    Credentials, access, or compromising material

Requests for passwords, one-time codes, identity documents, remote access, intimate media, or proof-of-loyalty tasks.

  5. 05
    Unusual transfer method

Gift cards, crypto, wires, P2P payments, cash couriers, “safe” accounts, or a new payee under intense pressure.

  6. 06
    Escalation after compliance

A small fee, gift, image, or favor becomes a larger demand—and each payment creates a new obstacle.

  7. 07
    A story that resists verification

Live contact, official numbers, spontaneous video, withdrawal tests, or an independent callback are repeatedly delayed or forbidden.

  8. 08
    A request to lie

The contact instructs the person to deceive family, a bank teller, a teacher, a platform, counsel, or law enforcement.

Alert flow

Pause. Explain.
Then let a human decide.

Scamurai is decision support, not an emergency service, medical provider, bank, attorney, or law-enforcement agency.
